The Parish Council is the lowest tier of local government having the roles and responsibility to serve the residents of Cadney and Howsham as its representative in matters relating to local government.

Cadney cum Howsham Parish Council strives to ensure that residents receive a good value for money services from the local agencies and that the village remains well maintained, safe and a pleasant environment to live.

The Parish Council serves to reflect the views of the Parishioners to the North Lincolnshire Council on matters such as planning, the development of the Local Plan and consultation on council services.

The Council has many powers to spend money for the benefit of its Parish.
